After hearing really great things about YUBU, I decided to give it a go when I was passing by! I got the set of 3 - salmon, bulgogi, and torched salmon. Each piece is about 4.50 each, so in total including tax, it was about 16. It's a bit pricey for tofu pockets, but it was delicious! All you have to do is order on the touchscreen at the front and they will call out the number that's printed on your receipt. The salmon one comes with a bit of uni (sea urchin) too, and it was very good. My favourite was the salmon one, actually! Even if they don't have the ones you're looking for on display, you can still order it and they will make it fresh for you. I'll definitely be back to try the others!

Thank you, Yubu Scarborough and Yelp Toronto, for hosting this picnic box set. Yubu is located in the Sky City Shopping centre. It's a large commercial plaza with a wide array of restaurants. The storefront is colourful and appealing. There's a nice wall drawing with pictures of customers who visited this location. The display counter had all the beautiful tofu pockets arranged in trays. Everything looked so good. I will definitely come back to try some of them. You can choose your Yubu set like salmon lovers, kimchi lovers, veggie lovers, and korean lovers. Most of the 4 piece sets were sold out according to the kiosk. You can order the Yubu a la carte with pricing starting at 2.49 for plain all the way up to 4.89 for torched salmon or spicy salmon. The manager presented my order and gave me a choice of gift, either Yelp bag or Yelp hand sanitizer. The bulgogi bowl was generous portion and was very tastey. We also got a tuna mayo gimbap triangle and a peach flavoured drink. If you're looking for something pleasing to the eyes, then these bite-size tofu pockets fit the bill. I will definitely come back to order the Yubu tofu pockets. Thank you Yubu Scarborough and Janice from Yelp Toronto for organizing this event so we can try some delicious amazing Korean food.

Come earlier in the day if you want more selection!! We came at around 8pm and they only had 3 flavours left, but as we were ordering, they told us they were making fresh salmon/torched salmon yubu. We ended up with the torched salmon, crab mayo, and tuna mayo. The torched salmon was my fave bc salmon (obviously lol) and it was also slightly warm, compared to the other ones that are just fully refrigerated. Crab mayo wasn't bad but it wasn't anything special, and same with the tuna mayo. I definitely will come back to try the other flavours tho. Ordering system is kinda weird. You have to order off and pay on the screen and then pass the receipt to the employee who picks out the yubu, which seems kind of redundant, especially since they're already standing there. I think it would've been faster for the employee to order for us. But anyway, it's a cool concept and I can't wait for the rest of the food hall to open

Food is good, a nice and new fusion food, something new to see and nice to try. Had the torched salmon tofu pocket, spicy salmon tofu pocket and bulgogi tofu pocket. Love the flavour! Savory tofu pockets filled with rice and meats like Beef Bulgogi, Fresh Salmon, Spicy Salmon, Kimchi Fried Rice, Spicy crab, Tuna, Salmon gochujang. Perfect for picnics, quick bites or lunches. Super delicious and worth my bucks. I’m a regular and its highly recommended.

I am obsessed with Japanese Inari so Korean Yubuchobap was a must try for me! Customer service was great, they have a bunch of items on display for you to look at when you are making your choices. I ordered a box of 3 from the self serve kiosk and my order was quick and easy. I got the Kimchi (I should have ordered two!), the Salmon (soo soo good), and the Buldak, if you love spicy then PLEASE do yourself a favour and get this one! The spices hit the back of my throat and I could feel the burn for a little while. All the flavours I tried are great! I regret not getting the 4 box and getting the scallop Yubu. Anyway I will be back, sooner rather than later! I didn’t get the best picture of the packaging because it got heated up from the soup dumplings I bought from another place.

So cute and so delicious! I tried the salmon and the kimchi fried rice tofu pockets for my first time and it was SO good. There’s so many different flavours to choose from, I am definitely coming back and trying more. They are about 4-5 each, but I can honestly say that although it seems a little bit expensive, the flavour is so amazing that it’s worth it. I wish I had gotten the 4 pack instead of the 3, but next time!
